Love The TaylorMade R11 Irons In My First Sight
Do you believe your presentative feeling when you first saw something? As it for me, that's really a nice experience to the r11.
TaylorMade's engineers had a single target in mind when designing the new r11 irons - that being the player that wants a classic, refined look along with the game improving technology that will get the ball higher, longer, and straighter.
One of the major elements of the taylormade r11 irons are the "Precision Weighting Port," that distinctive red hexagon you can see in the clubs above. The weight is now in the clubface, rather than being partially or fully in the hosel, and it provides for a more expected and consistent swing and sweet spot.
From the first swing, you can tell the difference the weight makes. Once you get over the initial feel of the weight not being in the hosel, and it doesn't take long, you recognize the smoothness and balance in the taylor made r11 irons.
The clubs don't have quite the same satisfying ball-striking sound as some others I've played, but a) that's nitpicking and b) since many of my strikes are followed by "Fore!" or "Anybody see where that went?" it's not such a big deal. And you can find the r11 irons for sale information here.
At impact, the r11 iron feels and sounds more muted (quieter) than the loud-ish Burner 2.0 because the R11's clubface is slightly thicker in the impact zone and where it connects to the sole.
You really need a try to this club!
