A relatively new facility which replaced the storied RCA Dome a few years back, Lucas Oil Stadium is an impressive place. Home to the NFL's Indianapolis Colts and site of the 2012 Super Bowl, AMA Supercross is happy to be headed back to not only a great stadium, but an intense and large crowd. With expected attendance figures in the mid-50K range, and with a resurgent James Stewart, this weekend's racing is bound to be one for the memory banks.

The track at Indy is generally believed to have some of the best dirt on the circuit to build the track with - second only to St. Louis in terms of rider affection for it. This year we once again get to see the over-under bridge, which we've seen only one other time this season, in St. Louis. Otherwise, the most notable feature of this particular track are the mutliple 180 degree bowl turns, which tend to lead to more passing opportunites than a 90 degree turn, which often result in a 'one fast line' scenario, and thus fewer passes.
