Pacific Standard Time began thinking about real angelinos who have shaped culture in a global way. And they don't get more real than Ice Cube. While researching the rap legend, we learned after Ice Cube recorded his first demo with NWA in 1987 he studied architectural drafting at the Phoenix Institure of Technology.

Ice Cube Says:
"Before I did rap music, I studied architectural drafting and one thing I learned is that you always gotta have a plan."

With music video director, Dave Meyers, we approached Ice Cube with the idea of doing a possible partnership and discovered he was actually a fan of the iconic Eames.

This unexpected story needed to be told and we're grateful to to have Ice Cube as a cultural ambassador to the Eames.
