I’m a grown man still livin’ like I’m young/ with the mind of an old man full of wisdom" - Tony Yayo "These are words to live by", says Ripz The Huligan. Born Sa'Koree Allen Fondren in Minneapolis, MN on March 24, 1984, Hip-Hop and music in general has always played a major roll in Ripz The Huligan’s life. Dating back to when he was only three years old. That’s when he recorded his first ever song at the Minnesota State Fair. It was his version of LL Cool J’s "I’m Bad". Since then, Ripz has recorded many mixtapes with the Fondren Boys as well as making tracks with Ciph of the one time Minneapolis based group The Professionals and recording many songs with the Trapstars, also from Minneapolis. At first, writing lyrics and rapping was just a hobby. Now taking Hip-Hop music more serious, Ripz is on the verge of making power moves, that only true HipHop heads can feel. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After a small scope release of his first two (2) mixtapes released in 2007, Feature Presentation:I 4got Muzik and Monody (go to datpiff.com to download your copy for free), under the Trap City Muzik Group tag where a buzz that started to form around Ripz. With songs like 'My Adidas', 'I Get Money', 'Suicide' & 'Gunz Neva Jam' from the I 4got Muzik cd and 'I'm Back', 'I Will Strap On', 'Crown Royal' & 'Brass Knuckles' from the Monody cd, Ripz seen there was no turning back from there. So he went back into the dungeon and started brain storming a new angle to go after... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FAST FORWARD TO 2008 Back with a new attitude and focus, Ripz The Huligan released the first installment of a 5 part series called 'ADDICTED'. With a high volume sale out of the way, 5,000 sold between North America and Ireland, ADDICTED gave Ripz The Huligan the caliber of music he had been looking for all along. Tracks like 'Shooters Shoot', 'Here ye Here ye', 'Caddy Window', 'In My Backseat', 'Take You To The Top', '24/7 Live Entertainment' & the title track 'Addicted' gave lasting impression on listeners.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2009..... Ripz began preparation for the second installment entitled ADDICTED 2: THE RELAPSE (also on datpiff.com). While getting things together for the new cd, Ripz The Huligan hooked back up with Young Infy and formed 24/7 BLOC MUNNY ENT. and the B.C.G. (Brief Case Gang) THE RELAPSE hit the ground running and picked up right where the first ADDICTED left off. With features from Young Infy on tracks '24/7 Bloc Munny', 'Michael Myers', 'Make A Move', 'Make A Movie Out'em' & 'One Knee Action (If I Don't Blow Up)' gave THE RELAPSE that extra spice it needed. THE RELAPSE also featured Tre-El on 'Blacc On Blacc Niccel Plated'. Other notable songs to check out on THE RELAPSE are 'Gettin Windy', 'Chili Sauce' and the Notorious B.I.G. inspired 'Goin Out For The Loot'.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With ADDICTED & ADDICTED 2: THE RELAPSE out of the way, Ripz is now focused more then ever on the next two (2) mixtapes to be released from the 24/7 Bloc Munny Ent name. The first to come is the double disk mixtape with Young Infy entitled THE INFLUENCE OF A HULIGAN (being released 4th quarter 2009). The second to be released soon is the Brief Case Gang compilation cd called RAZOR BLADE MUZIK featuring songs from Ripz The Huligan & Young Infy as well as 24/7 Bloc Munny artists 2-Eleven and Fresco Jakes (L.F.T.)
